I'm Mocha. That gives you a warm feeling when you say my name, doesn't it? I'm glad because I am a great girl that can give you warmth, I mean, check out my coat! I think I'm all set for any winter storm. I can even share if you'd like... Anyway, I've only been in this shelter for a week and that's long enough in my opinion. My family had to surrender me because, well, they love me. Let me explain; my family got me when I was a little smaller than I am now. They gave me all of my shots, they had me spayed (whatever that is) and gave me all the love I could ever ask for. I unexpectedly grew and grew until they decided it would probably be best if I found a new home that fits my needs. There weren't any other dogs in the home or kids and that's just what I need. I miss them dearly, but I know they still love me. So, moving on to my next and LAST family. So, here's the stats. I'm only 9 months old, I am a mix between a Collie and a Golden Retriever, I absolutely love to play, I love every dog I meet, I love to romp with the kids, I went to school for obedience and passed with flying colors, I'm still working a little on housetraining, but will definitely get there in no time (I'm smart) and I have a thing for socks. No, no...not what you're thinking. I don't grab them unless they are given to me, knotted up...or unless you leave them on the floor. In my defense, I am a puppy...a very large puppy, but a puppy nevertheless. So, whaddya' say? Can you give me a home in time for Christmas? I'm all ready to go. All you need to do is bring the kiddos to meet me and sign a piece of paper and I'm ready to go home that day!
