I'm the one and only Mango Slush. I'm the famous Sonic cat everyone heard about. SWAT finally thinks I'm ready for adoption after spending a few weeks healing and learning to be social. I have come a long way. Before a nice lady caught me and dropped me off here, I was living at a Sonic in Rogers County. I was dumped there by my so called family. I was scared to death of that place. The sounds and smells were all new, a bunch of people tried to catch me daily, I spent days held up in whatever bush or box I could find. Food and water were rarely given to me; an occasional chicken strip or tater tot would be tossed my way, but that was all. I became very skinny, too skinny, and the fleas chewed me up. I lost most of my gorgeous coat. After what seemed like forever, someone showed up, set up a wire box with FOOD in it and left. The smell was irresistible; I went for it. The wire box closed the minute I stepped foot inside and I was stuck. Then I came to SWAT. I spent a week hiding from everyone. I was so stressed, I even slept in my litter box....gross! Not anymore. The humans here are kind. I get meals everyday and scream for them if it isn't given to me fast enough, the fleas are gone and I gained a true love....the brush. I love to be brushed.
