Axyl, checking in as SWAT's POW, just a little late to the party. I would have been here earlier but I was living in a shed with no electricity. You got it, I was abandoned by my previous owners out around Boatman Road near Salina. The nice people that picked me up have two BIG dogs in the house that don't really appreciate my exuberant zest for life, so here I am. I've been with SWAT for a few weeks and I'm ready to find my Forever! I'm with SWAT recuperating from my vet visit but then I'm heading to my Foster. She has an Oakley to play with. I'm pretty stoked but SWAT says I can't roughhouse until I'm healed. I'm a patient kind of guy. Here's the Axel scoop: I am a boy and learning how to not be SO MUCH of a boy. Despite what looks like gray on my muzzle, I'm a pretty young guy, about a year or two old. I'm a Chocolate Lab/ Pit mix if I had to guess. SWAT always says, if it's not a Pit, it's a Lab or Chihuahua. I got two out of three. I'm completely house trained, no accidents. I know some human words like "sit." I walk pretty well on a leash and I come when called so they let me off leash sometimes to walk with the SWAT pack. I'm dog friendly, kid friendly and love my humans. I have no issues with the cat, like following the chickens around the yard and do really well with farm animals. I have NO aggression issues at all. I smile a lot because now that I'm out of the shed, I have a LOT to smile about. If you are interested in taking me home and making me yours forever, you can put my name, right here: https://www.savingwhiskersandtails.org/forms/form?formid=4138
Hugs, Axyl
