Meet Mandy, SWAT's POW. Mandy was adopted from the Shelter about 9 years ago. After leaving the Shelter, she lived her life as an outside dog, on the end of a cable wire. When they decided to move, she found herself homeless again. She is currently with a foster family, having the time of her life She is off the chain and had full run of the yard AND HOUSE! She has wonderful indoor manners, she's house trained, has some basic manners and is living this new life to its fullest! She is about 10 years old, spayed, up to date on shots. She is running, jumping and playing with the family's other dog. She's not verbal, like some Beagles can be. She is looking for a retirement home. This girl is full of life and wants to share it with her Forever. You can meet Mandy by filling out an application with her name on it!
We accidently reported Mandy's age as 14...she wasn't too happy with us. We fixed it but we thought you should read what she said about herself.
"
Mandy here. My internet finally came back on, I read what SWAT said about me. They never even asked me what I WANTED to write. And, I'm not trying to be mean here, but if they are going to tell you about me, they might want to get it right. I'm TEN! How dare they say I'm 14. I don't act a minute over 8. I'm still a puppy at heart, especially with this new yard to explore. I'm not chained to anything, I just walk around wherever I want. I sleep in the house (all night according to my foster mom) and have the sweetest dreams EVER! I can tell you other stuff if you have questions. Because of all the happenings last week, SWAT is extending my time as POW for a while longer.
