Hi there. My name is Racie. I have quite the story to tell. Before I arrived at the shelter, I was living on my own for a really long time. My tummy was always growling, every bone in my body was sticking out and I had these really painful sores all over me; I was miserable. Then one day, I got stuck in a pond and I thought surely that was the end of me. The next thing I know, a nice lady showed up and, well, brought me to the shelter. I was okay with it though because I was no longer hungry and my sores were on the mend. After a month of being in an isolation kennel, I was moved to the back porch with other dogs. You know what that means?? I am now healthy enough to be adopted! Yay! So, let me give you a few details about myself. Let me start off by telling you that I am an adorable Greyhound mix. I am only a year old so teaching me new tricks will be a piece of cake. I am pretty smart ya' know. AND I really want to know what it's like to be a part of someone's family. I've never had one before, but I was told they are wonderful! There are toys, tiny humans to play with, couches to sleep on, two square meals a day, and most importantly, there is a family to love. If you are interested in meeting me, please call the Rockin' G ANimal Shelter at (918) 825-7172.
